About Capricorn (Makara) as a Moon sign
The Moon in Makara gives you a composed, responsible and quietly determined emotional nature. You feel secure when life has structure and purpose, and your steadiness is a source of strength for others.
How this horoscope is made
This is a Moon-sign (rashi) horoscope, the kind used in India, not a Western sun-sign horoscope. It is calculated from the real positions of the planets in the sidereal zodiac (Lahiri ayanamsha), counted as houses from your Moon sign — the classical method of gochara. The Moon’s daily house sets the tone of each day; the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars colour the weeks and months; Jupiter, Saturn and Rahu–Ketu shape the year. Times are India time; the Panchang is New Delhi’s.
