Vishvarupa Darshana Yoga
विश्वरूपदर्शनयोग — The Vision of the Universal Form · 55 verses
Summary
Arjuna asks to see Krishna’s divine form. Granted divine eyes, he beholds the universal form: countless faces, eyes and arms, the whole cosmos in one body, brighter than a thousand suns. He sees the warriors of both armies rushing into its blazing mouths. Krishna declares, “I am Time, the destroyer of worlds,” and tells Arjuna to be merely the instrument. Terrified and awed, Arjuna praises him and begs to see his gentle four-armed and human form again.
