About Kaal Sarp

Kaal Sarp is a modern concept: it does not appear in Parashara’s classical text, and many astrologers give it little weight. It is also common — a large share of charts have at least a partial form. We show the result calmly, with its traditional meaning and remedies, and never as a cause for fear.

The twelve types — Anant, Kulik, Vasuki, Shankhpal, Padma, Mahapadma, Takshak, Karkotak, Shankhchur, Ghatak, Vishdhar and Sheshnag — are named by the house Rahu occupies.
