Purushottama Yoga
पुरुषोत्तमयोग — The Supreme Person · 20 verses
Summary
The world is pictured as an eternal ashvattha tree with roots above and branches below, to be cut with the axe of detachment. The individual soul is an eternal fragment of the Divine. Krishna is the light in the sun, moon and fire, the digestive fire in living beings, and the source of memory and knowledge in every heart. Beyond the perishable and the imperishable, he is the Supreme Person, Purushottama.
